To enhance the students’ awareness of their native language and of other languages they work with; to have the students actively transfer said awareness to their translational activities.



1 The students gain awareness on their native language and the languages they work with, resulting in enhanced interpretive power and decision-making abilities.
2 The students grasp the structural make-up of the Turkish language.
3 The students grasp the key characteristics of various text types and build strategies accordingly.
4 The students acquire translation experience on a variety of relevant fields.
