Dersin Amacı

Bu ders, uluslararası toplumunun ve Türkiye'nin karşı karşıya olduğu güncel uluslararası zorlukların neler olduğuyla ilgili genel bir giriş olarak tasarlanmıştır. Soğuk Savaş bittikten sonra, küresel yeni meseleler sınır ötesi etkiler yaratacak biçimde ortaya çıktı ve bu meselelerin getirdiği karmaşık yumuşak ve sert güvenlik tehditlerini eski günlerdeki gibi kontrol etmek kolay değil. Dolayısıyla bu dersin amacı, sınırların geçirgen hale geldiği ve hiç kimsenin bundan muaf olmadığı bu küresel düzende herkesi etkileyen zorlukları öğrencilerimizin dikkatine sunmaktır. Bu şekilde, bu dersi tamamlayan öğrenciler, aşırı karmaşık hale gelen güncel küresel sorunlarımızı daha iyi anlayabilirler.
