This course aims to provide an understanding of : -the cell biology of the neuron - how neurons transmit electrochemical information throughout the body - how to connect perceptual input to motor output - the cellular basis for learning and memory.

Dersin İçeriği
This course is designed to introduce the physiological mechanisms underlying the human behaviour. Particular emphasis will be given to structure and function of the central nervous system, neuroanatomy, neuroplasticity, and the role of certain brain regions in human cognition. At the end of this course students will acquire knowledge on the structure of the human nervous system, physiological bases of basic psychological processes such as emotion, memory, and executive functions.
