Dersin Amacı
Bu derste öğrenciler, sosyal bilim metinlerinin çevirisine ilişkin temel uygulamalarla, sosyal bilim çevirilerinde en sık karşılaşılan sorunlarla ve bazı teknik ve stratejilerle tanışacaklardır. Dersin amacı, sosyal bilimlerle ilgili metinlerin kavramları ve özellikleri konusunda farkındalık oluşturmak ve öğrencilerin bu alandaki metinleri çevirmeye yönelik pratik beceriler edinmelerine yardımcı olmaktır. Ders hem kuramsal hem de uygulamalı çalışmaları kapsar; yani öğrenciler kuramsal konuları inceleyerek farklı metinlerin çevirisi üzerinde çalışacaklardır.
