Dersin Amacı

1. To introduce the basic concepts, principles and approaches of entrepreneurship, and to be aware of the importance of entrepreneurship for national and global economies. 2. To examine the current issues in the field of entrepreneurship and to identify the problems faced by entrepreneurs in the initiation and growth of new ventures. 3. To understand entrepreneurial motivation and entrepreneurial success by examining individual-level issues such as entrepreneurial mindset and personality traits. 4. To learn how to turn a business idea into an entrepreneurial opportunity and how to evaluate and validate this entrepreneurial opportunity. 5. To develop an awareness of the importance of making a business plan before creating a new venture and to learn to prepare a business plan in order to put into practice entrepreneurial opportunities. 6. To understand the importance of creativity and innovation in the context of entrepreneurship, as well as to learn practices that can increase creativity and innovation performance in business ventures. 7. To learn to create a new venture and to understand the structure and characteristics of an innovative and entrepreneurial organization. 8. To understand the importance of family business entrepreneurship both in national and global economies, as well as the dynamics, opportunities and challenges of family businesses. 9. To learn the methods of financing new ventures through examining different types of financing sources such as debt financing, venture capital, angel investors and crowdfunding. 10. To introduce different types of entrepreneurship such as technological, social, sustainable, international, global, and digital entrepreneurship. 11. To evaluate the effects of digital transformation and the fourth industrial revolution on the phenomenon of entrepreneurship and entrepreneurship practices on the world.

Dersin İçeriği

This course provides information on the phenomenon of entrepreneurship from a broad perspective. The following subjects are covered throughout the course: The concepts and principles of entrepreneurship, importance of entrepreneurship, entrepreneurial motivation, entrepreneurial mindset, entrepreneurial opportunities, business planning, innovative and entrepreneurial organizations, entrepreneurship in family businesses and MSMEs, financing resources for new ventures, types of entrepreneurship, current issues and problems in entrepreneurship.
