An introductory course to basic design concepts including form, pattern, color, composition. Visual perception is studied by different presentation techniques.

1 Tools and equipment needs, good examples from previous years' work, interesting buildings and examples of ornaments around the world.
2 Use of tools and free hand drawing.
3 T ruler, miter use. Horizontal, vertical, diagonal and karolaj drawings. Article.
4 Expression of design elements. - Harmony contrast correlations. - Representation of one or more objects with stationary elements.
5 1. midterm exam
6 The sense of three dimensionality is given in the study area by the dimension, value or texture difference from the design elements.
7 Design analysis with nature elements and search for new legislation.
8 New design expressions using an object from nature, bird, bug etc.
9 Color studies

11 Organizational principles in visual perception. Depth, linearity, effective environment.
