1 Explain what psychology is, give examples of different areas within psychology (and the issues) and evaluate different research methods used in psychology.
2 Demonstrate a basic understanding of the structure of the brain and nervous system. Explain and evaluate theory that brain function is modular and describe techniques used to investigate brain activity
3 Explain the principles of three kinds of learning and discuss the role of knowledge in learning.
4 Explain and give examples demonstrating the difference between sensation and perception
